Code Geass R2

It was a hot and sunny day.  I was lying in bed, trying to take a nap before heading out to work.  Then, the door opens.  My room mate comes in and *plop* he drops a box on top of me.  I begrudgingly acknowledged this before promptly falling back asleep.  Then I realized what that package was.  Around a month ago, I ordered the whole set of Code Geass R2 off of Crunchyroll at a great discounted price.  I watched Code Geass already, but I loved it.  Now I’m trying to collect all the dvds (limited edition ones too).  I’m only 2 volumes away from finishing the collection!

What’s this?

:O.  Could it be?!

For Honour’s Sake [Chapter 7/27]

I’ve been reading a historical novel called “For Honour’s Sake: the War of 1812 and the Brokering of an Uneasy Peace” by Mark Zuehlke.  Now, if you know me, you might’ve realized I have a strong interest in military history.  While looking for good historical novels on Goodreads one day, I happened across this author and took note that he focused on mainly writing about Canada’s military history.  Me, being proud of being a Canadian instantly decided on reading his novels.

The novel itself is a great read so far.  It is very informative and details every aspect leading up to the war (and I’ll assume, of the war and post-war period as well).  The addition of quotes and background information on the major players at the time was a great touch and lends a helping hand for readers less informed on the topic.  However, due to this style, the author tends to divert on a tangent while explaining, thus making it a tad hard to keep up (especially when you’re already having trouble concentrating).  Anyway, I’m greatly looking forward to completing this book.

A (what I find to be) funny passage in the novel:

Eureka Seven [Finished]

So I’ve been watching Eureka Seven lately and I have taken forever to finish it.  Admittedly, I had trouble finishing it near the end because I was getting rather tired of it.  I loved the series as a whole, but felt kind of bored at times and there were certain parts that were just dragged out for too long.  Despite this, the last 3 episodes really won me over and ended the series on a good note for me.   What a great love story <3

Starcraft 2 – Epic Nuke

Hey guys, been a while since I’ve posted here. My mouse broke a couple of days ago; it won’t click anymore. Due to that, I haven’t played SC2 in a while (I’m sure my girlfriend is happy about this :3). However, before my mouse broke, I was practicing on my friend, Tofu’s, account. I played a pretty average TvT, but it had a special ending :3. So without further ado, here is my brief recap of the game:

Here’s the replay for those who want to watch the whole game:

Overall, I think I played pretty poorly that game. I was behind a lot in supply count and could’ve macroed much better. Not only that, I spread my line of defence too thin, trying to cover more area than I realistically should’ve. Thankfully, my opponent was too defensive and that was what cost him the game. I still need a lot of practice =p. Either way, that was the best nuke I ever pulled off in a game <3. Now to get a new mouse…

Fooling around on Minecraft

A couple of days ago I bought Minecraft and started playing with friends on survival multiplayer.  It was mostly my friends building a base inside a mountain and me running around killing everybody.  Eventually I joined them and we built a decent looking base.  Then we figured out the op commands.   What started as a prank by my friend to blow me up with tnt, turned into a giant bombing war.  Our lovely home became a demolition site within a few minutes.  So now, I present you some wonderful pictures of the destruction:
